12:02p new runes

I just received a set of runes that I ordered from Brigantia Designs (contact info: nicolekore at gmail.com). i've posted a picture because they're absolutely fantastic. They're made of used shell cartridges and have a really nice heft and weight to them.
Here's a blurb from the initial information Winter Tashlin, one of the crafters gave me:
Each rune is made up of six 45ACP shells and six 9mm Parabellum shells. Although you can't see the 9mm at all, each 45 has a 9 inside during the melting down process in order to have enough brass for a solid rune tile. The top face of each tile has the relevant rune inscribed with an engraving tool, and the back of each rune is clearly the impact plates of the six 45ACP shells, even the manufacturer & caliber stamp is still visible. This is what makes our process unique. Rather than simply smelting the shells completely, where you'd just have to take my word for the fact that the runes are made from shell casings, done this way there can be no doubt.
We will also be making spent casing pendants with whatever rune or other symbols (within reason) people may want on them. The pendants are made from five casing, four to form the surface for the symbol and a fifth shell in the top center that has had its primer bored out to accept a ring for a chain. The pendants sell for $30USD and are sold on a silk cord.
I used my runes for the first time last night and I have to say: wow. they're just fantastic to read with. I thought some folks here might be interested. :)
Happy Yule.

This is the first of 12 (we hope) podcasts dedicated to Yule and the Holiness of those 12 days. This is posted a week early so that everyone can get this present in time. :)
If not for the Mother’s we would not be here. The Norns three wove the wyrd of the nine worlds. Urd, Virvanda and Skuld, see newborns to their new luck.
To our mother Nerthus, to whom we live upon and on, To our mother Frigga, keep our household whole and safe, To our mother Freyja, great Dis and Valiant Van.
To our Ancestors, grand mothers and great all. The line of woman go back from Elmbla and forward until Leifthansa. Strength and courage were theirs and may it always be so.
For our Desir, we hail you one and all. Proud possessors of the family luck. Bless us in the coming year!
Hail the Goddesses! Hail the Ancestors! Hail the Desir! (http://ravencast.podbean.com)
At Spoken Lore:
Egil’s Saga, Chapter 39 Next spring Skallagrim showed Kettle to land above Oleif’s land, by White-river, from Flokadale-river mouth to Reykjadale-river mouth, and all the tongue that lay between the rivers up to Redgill, and all Flokadale above the slopes. Kettle dwelt at Thrandarholt; Geir at Geirs-lithe; he had another farm in Reykjadale at Upper Reykir. He was called Geir the wealthy; his sons were Blund-Kettle and Thorgeir-blund. A third was Hrisa-blund, who first dwelt at Hrisa.
